The OG

The OG is our single-origin signature blend of 90% robusta and 10% peaberry coffee, a unique combination that sets it apart. Sourced directly from the Highlands of Vietnam, it delivers bold but smooth chocolate and nutty flavours to your cup.

Drink sustainably

Sustainability is at the core of what we do, from sourcing coffee processed with sustainable practices to using packaging that is friendlier to the environment.

Drink affordably

With a much higher level of caffeine content, our beans are the perfect alternative to other specialty options. Drink less, save more.

Drink creatively

Our coffee is meant to be explored and had fun with. Why don’t you try brewing with fruits or making a cold brew without grinding the beans and see for yourself?

Connection, from one bean to another.

High-quality coffee should be explored and savoured by coffee lovers around the world. Coffee drinkers deserve a rich and diverse coffee experience, while coffee growers are entitled to financial stability and favourable working conditions.

Our mission is to connect and support these communities, ultimately fostering a future of ethical and sustainable coffee culture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Vietnamese coffee?
Vietnam is the second largest producer in the world but Vietnamese coffee is often misunderstood. đen was born because we wanted to change this.

Being surrounded by coffee while growing up in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, coffee and its culture shaped who we are. We wouldn’t quite call ourselves coffee snobs, however, but people who understand coffee not just as a substance, but as community.

The geographical advantage of Vietnam and its strong trading relationship with Australia, our second home, also means we can bring coffee to our customers at a more reasonable price.
How sustainable are you?
We chose a single-origin robusta blend as our first product because of its resistance against environmental changes, meaning they have fewer bugs and require less pesticides. These beans are also sun-dried, not washed to restrict water usage.

Our long-term plan is to continue investing packaging solutions that you can compost or recycle.
Isn’t robusta coffee bad?
We’re aware of the bad rap robusta coffee has gotten over the years and our coffee is anything but. Carefully selected, our The OG blend consists of 10% peabody coffee — the much rarer, much harder to produce one-embryo beans with a richer, sweeter and fuller body flavours than regular coffee beans, resulting in a more balanced flavour profile.

Not a fan of robusta? Don’t worry, we have plans to bring high-quality Vietnamese arabica coffee to Australia. Subscribe to hear more!
Is your coffee bitter?
Yes, but not unpleasantly. Smooth and chocolatey is the vibe.
How strong is your coffee?
Strong! Our beans have almost double the caffeine content of your average cup made with arabica from other regions, which means you’re technically cutting down your coffee intakes (well, kind of 😉).
But what’s up with the devil heads?
Our coffee-devil pattern is inspired by lesser-known Vietnamese folklore. But if you’re scared of them, our coffee is probably not for you. You’ve been warned.

Don’t just take our word for it!

I liked it on itself, but I loved it when served on ice and topped with oat milk. Think of it as a non‑sweet and lighter Vietnamese coffee. DELICIOUS!
